The Family Health Ministries (FHM) office in Durham is full to overflowing with medicines and supplies to take to Haiti on Saturday. Fifteen team members led by Executive Director Kathy Walmer will run a medical clinic in Blanchard (Port-au-Prince) for the congregation and friends of the Christian Community Church. Volunteers will be coming in to the office at the end of the week to help load the cars for the trip to the airport early Saturday morning, June 20th. Eight members of the team traveling from the Raleigh-Durham area will take 16 50-pound bags of medical supplies, medicines, vitamins and formula for children with malnutrition. Team members from Raleigh-Durham and Charlotte, NC, CA, WI, KY, and SC will meet at the Miami airpot to travel together to Port-au-Prince.
