Patients are lined up and waiting when we arrive in Blanchard about 7:45 am. It's already hot!
First we take their vitals and then they go to "triage" where we ask them about their top three medical problems. Each volunteer in triage works with a translator.
After waiting first in the Blanchard church and then in the clinic, each patient sees the doctor. We see all ages, and luckily have a pediatrician and an Ob/Gyn with us, as well as two doctors who are practicing general medicine.
Next the patients go to the pharmacy, where they get both medicine and advice. Finally, if they are in need, we are fitting patients with reading glasses.

Good to see my family working so hard in Haiti, I know they will enjoy it as much as I did!!! Wish I could be there with them! Love, Whitney
